be useful as standalone lessons in leadership, they are best worked through in sequence, because each lesson builds on the previous ones, a bit like the wave in the figure above.

For anyone who has surfed before, you’ll know that great feeling when the wave lifts you up and you ‘catch it’. It can be exhilarating - and for a moment, effortless! The modules in The Leader's Map are designed to lift you and your leadership capability up, just like that wave. When you combine all of the knowledge and skills that you have gained from the programme, and more importantly, you put them into practice, it will elevate your leadership capability and enable you to surf that leadership wave like a pro!

Course Modules

There are 8 modules, each focusing on a key topic or skill of leadership. Each module contains 9-12 lessons, covering a key aspect of that module topic. For example, in Module 6, Build a Great Team, Lesson 2 is all about how to recruit successfully.

Each module is accompanied by at least one video lesson. The lessons within each module provide you with ideas, concepts, leadership models and specific exercises for you to work through - so that you can learn and master that module topic.

The final module is Module 9, a self review and reflection module, which puts it all together and where you can see how far you've come and what you have learned.

We strongly recommend that you discuss and share your learnings with your peers and direct manager as you go along, as that will help you learn and embed the information and skills.
